Abi
Dental Assistant
Abi has been a part of our dental office since 2011, bringing with her a wealth of experience that began in 2002. Graduating from the dental assisting program at Concorde Career Institute in Tampa, Florida, Abi's role is multifaceted and crucial to the smooth operation of our practice. Her day-to-day responsibilities include taking X-rays, assisting chairside during procedures, taking dental impressions, and crafting temporaries—all vital to providing top-notch dental care.
What truly makes Abi's work rewarding is her ability to help people rediscover the joy in their smiles. It's this aspect of her job that she finds most fulfilling, knowing that she plays a part in boosting patients' confidence and well-being.
Abi is a mother to three children and two cats, managing a lively and loving household. She enjoys do-it-yourself projects and exploring our local trails.
Brittany
Clinial Operations Coordinator
Brittany has been a member of the Smile Center team since the summer of 2009, just after graduating with a dental assisting degree from the University of Southern Indiana. She specializes in treatment planning and ensuring each patient's visit is comfortable and well-coordinated. Certified in dental radiography and an expanded duties dental assistant, Brittany brings a level of expertise and care to the practice that is second to none.
The transformation of a patient's smile is a journey she finds immensely rewarding, as she helps to restore not only their teeth but also their confidence in smiling.
Outside the office, Brittany's life is shared with her best friend and husband, BJ, and their three wonderful children, Rowan, Kentric, and Gryffin. Much of their family time is spent cheering from the sidelines of ball fields and exploring new places together. A self-proclaimed huge Harry Potter fan, one of Brittany's favorite family memories includes experiencing the magic at the Wizarding World of Harry Potter at Universal Studios.
Emily
Dental Hygienist
With a Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene from the University of Southern Indiana and additional certifications in local anesthesia and diode laser treatment, Emily is exceptionally equipped to help patients achieve the best oral health possible. Her role involves addressing dental findings and providing comprehensive education on oral hygiene to ensure each patient can maintain their dental health with confidence.
Emily has been part of Smile Center since 2015 and the aspect of her job that Emily enjoys the most is the opportunity to educate. She takes pride in empowering her patients with the knowledge they need to feel confident in their smiles.
Emily is a mom to two young boys, Bryson and Elijah, who fill her life with joy and energy. She loves spending time with her children and family, exploring new places together, and giving back to her community through volunteering.
Gabby
Front Desk
Gabby, the front desk administrator at our clinic, is the friendly face that greets every patient with a warm smile and a helping hand. Her expertise in managing the front desk operations is crucial in creating a welcoming and efficient environment for both patients and staff.
One of Gabby's favorite aspects of her job is interacting with patients. She enjoys the opportunity to engage with people from all walks of life, offering support and assistance to ensure their experience at the clinic is smooth and pleasant.
Outside of the office, Gabby loves going for walks and staying fit through regular exercise. Her passion for reading provides her with a quiet escape, and she has a particular fondness for all things related to Harry Potter and turtles.
Kelsey
Dental Hygienist
Kelsey has been an integral part of our team since 2016, the same year she graduated from the University of Southern Indiana. Beginning her career in dental hygiene shortly after her graduation, Kelsey has consistently demonstrated her commitment to promoting good oral hygiene and overall dental health among our patients.
The highlight of Kelsey’s role as a hygienist is the personal relationships she builds with her patients. She finds joy in connecting with them on a deeper level, understanding their individual needs, and providing tailored care.
Kelsey has been happily married since 2017 and is a devoted mother to three children. She enjoys the quiet pleasure of reading and going camping.
Lora
Assistant Lab & Serilization Manager
Lora, fulfilling the multifaceted roles of assistant, lab manager, and sterilization manager, has been a vital part of our clinic since 2019. Her responsibilities are diverse and integral to the clinic's smooth operation, including managing lab work, ensuring the sterilization of instruments, and providing assistance wherever needed.
Lora's favorite part of her job is working in the lab, where she can apply her skills and knowledge in a hands-on environment. She takes pride in the precision and care she brings to this aspect of her work.
Lora is a devoted mother to her son, Riddick, and a loving owner to her dog, Sebastian. Together, they share a passion for video games, hiking, trying new restaurants, and listening to music.
Mica
Expanded Functions Dental Assistant
Equipped with an Expanded Functions Dental Assistant Certification and an Associate of Science degree, Mica specializes in restoring patients' mouths, playing a crucial role in helping them regain their oral health and confidence. Mica has been providing exceptional care to our patients since 2014.
At the heart of Mica's work is her passion for helping patients feel confident in their smiles. She finds immense satisfaction in seeing the positive impact her work has on their self-esteem and overall well-being.
Mica is a loving mother to two children, Hudson and Finnley. Together, they share a love for the outdoors and traveling, embracing every opportunity to discover new places and experiences.
Will
Dental Sleep Medicine Coordinator & Radiology Technician
With a Medical Clinical Specialist Associate's degree supplemented by training in dental radiology and sleep medicine, Will helps to educate and provide care for patient's with sleep apnea through oral appliance therapy. His expertise is essential in helping patients overcome sleep-disordered breathing, significantly enhancing their quality of life.
Will's favorite aspect of his job is the patient interaction, where he can engage, educate, and empower individuals in their dental care journey. He finds immense satisfaction in being a part of life-changing treatments, particularly in the field of sleep disordered breathing. Working alongside his wife, Dr. Jamie Greenwell, Will is proud to support and contribute to the high standards of care at the clinic.
Will and Dr. Greenwell have been married since 2015. They have settled in Indiana after years of moving with the Army, and now enjoy a stable home life with their three dogs and two cats. Will's passions extend beyond dentistry; he is an avid motorsports enthusiast, often found at race tracks announcing or hosting his podcast, "The Wild Will Throwdown." His podcast can be found on every platform!
